about Zamour
Zamour comes from the Siwan word for olive - a staple crop here since ancient times - representing longevity and blessings. It is also the name for one of the oldest and deepest springs in Siwa; next to the gardens of the two founders of Zamour.Â

Our aim is to be a bridge between visitors and the local community. To help you navigate your experience in Siwa, whether that is long term or a short stay; and to create and nurture sustainable and symbiotic connections, while supporting local culture and economy.Â

95% of our team are from Siwa, which means your business is going straight to supporting local families. We at Zamour are committed to using the profits from our work to support young people in establishing their own businesses, in helping the community in need and the purchasing and preservation of old gardens that are under risk of overdevelopment.Â

Homeware
Working closely with Siwan women we are designing our first homeware collection inspired by the beauty of Siwa and the rich cultural heritage of traditional crafting techniques preserved by generations of women.Â

Our goal is the conservation of traditional techniques by making them commercially viable and by creating opportunities for young people to learn from elders within the community, so these practices aren't lost.

With a focus on quality and an eye for fusing modern design and needs with traditional crafts and techniques, you will be able to bring a little bit of the magic of Siwa into your home.
